Did you notice that the Lebanon Community Arts Council is celebrating its 5th season this year? My how good times fly!

We're celebrating this happy milestone by kicking off spring/summer with "Swingin' the Square" on Saturday, April 20th inside the Boone County Courthouse! The Lebanon HS Jazz Band will kick things off at 7 pm, then at 7:30 pm, representatives of the Arthur Murray Dance Center of Zionsville will offer a free, basic group swing dance instruction and demonstration. You can then try out your new moves to the Sugar Creek Big Band at 8:00! Arni's will be serving food and refreshments at the event, or you can stop in the restaurant for a great dinner and walk over to the courthouse for the dance (excellent date night!)

The event is admission free! There will be a station setup to accept contributions, as this event will help raise funds for this year's "Red, White, and Blues" festival on Friday, June 14th, (also on the courthouse square). This year's RWB fest will be our biggest and most unique event yet. Lebanon is in for an interesting experience this year!

Can't make it to the dance? You can, visit www.lebanonartscouncil.net for more information or to make an online contribution by becoming a "Friend of the Arts."

Hope to see you there!
