The members of the Lebanon Community Arts Council of Indiana are local musicians, teachers, artists, and performers that have joined together to provide and sponsor more culturally-significant programs and events in the Lebanon community. Our community is home to many talented and artistic individuals. The LCAC of Indiana is working to bring these individuals out into our community and help them shine! This will help our community in several ways, by showcasing the talents of our local residents and bringing new, exciting and culturally-inspired programs to our community. Jazz Works...Pass it On!

Jazz Works...Pass it On! is an educational music program developed and directed by Shirley Judkins, an educator and active jazz musician. It was previously offered by Jr. Achievement of Central Indiana and is a free program for jazz musicians , want-to-be musicians and listeners of all ages and abilities, to share, interact, preserve and Pass On our Jazz Heritage as an American Art Form. The goals are to learn and preserve the basic ElementsofJazz: Rhythm, Melody, Harmony and the Eras of Jazz. The program offers instruction and emphasizes creativity, improvisation and interactivejazz experiences., in small to medium combo settings. Focused regularly scheduled Jam Sessions provide opportunities for sharing side-by-side, and performing with those who are in the business of creating jazz..and Passing it On! Presented by Phillips Music Guild of Indianapolis.
